I am on the way. Errhh, that is; I am at Gardermoen (OSL). Norways main airport. Its a little over an hour before the plane leaves for London, then its on to San Francisco.
I was hoping to be able to access the net from Gardermoen, they do have a Wi-Fi hotspot, but the system is “closed”. No roaming with my ISP, and I would have had to first go to the SAS Hotel at the Airport to get a 24-hour-access pass. Sounds expensive, and not exactly what I need. I would have been much more impressed if they had implemented a credit card system for gaining access, or actually roamed with Norways biggest ISP.
Oh well, I guess its still early days when it comes to Wi-Fi here in Norway. Going to be interesting to see if I will be able to use the Wlan/Wi-Fi card at all on this trip… :-)
Its nice to have bluetooth and GPRS right now :-)
